ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
The premises shall be equipped with a CCTV system. Stored images shall be retained for a minimum of 60 days.
Security staff shall monitor movement between the jazz bar and the restaurant.
The premises shall maintain membership of the BAND scheme.
Staff shall encourage customers to leave the premises in an orderly manner and prevent customers from removing bottles or glasses from the premises.
Staff shall co-operate with the Council's taxi licensing unit in an effort to ensure that only pre-booked private hire vehicles can service customer’s requirements.
The premises shall have a current NICEIC electrical certificate and a CORGI gas certificate.
Exit doors shall be checked regularly to ensure that they function correctly.
Safety checks shall be carried out before the admission of the public.
An incident book detailing all incidents of note at the premises and in the immediate vicinity, including full anecdotal information shall be kept and made available for inspection by the Police or other authorised officers for 6 months
Sound levels inside the premises shall be controlled by a sound limitation device, which cannot be overridden by staff or performers.
Door supervisors shall monitor customers queuing and leaving the premises in order to minimise noise nuisance.
Prominent notices shall be displayed at exits requesting customers to leave quietly.
The volume of musical entertainment shall be reduced towards the end of the evening.
Customers who are known to cause noise nuisance regularly when leaving the premises shall be banned.
Where there is provision of entertainment specifically for children (e.g. children’s party) sufficient adults shall be present to control the access and egress of the children and ensure their safety.
Where a persons age is in doubt proof of age checks shall be carried out. The following documents will be accepted as proof of age. Passport, Photocard driving licence, Accredited proof of age identity scheme card, Forces photo I.D. card.
Live or recorded music shall not be played in the rooftop terrace bar.
Management will actively monitor the potential for noise nuisance to premises within the vicinity of the venue.
Windows and doors on Elizabeth Street shall be kept closed, except for normal access and egress in order to prevent noise breakout into the external environment.
