ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
In the absence of adequate daylight suitable and sufficient lighting will be provided and maintained in any area accessible to the public. Fire signs will be adequately illuminated, emergency lighting is installed and will be regularly maintained. Emergency lighting batteries shall be fully charged before the admission of public.
Emergency lighting tests shall be conducted monthly. Records of these shall be available upon request.
The premises shall have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report. An inspection shall be carried out every 5 year(s) and a new report obtained each time.

The premises shall have a CORGI certificate of inspection in respect of any gas boiler, calorifier or appliance. An inspection shall be carried out every year, and a new report obtained each time.
The premises shall have a current certificate issued by a suitably qualified professional confirming the safety of any suspended ceilings at the premises.
The premises shall have a current certificate of inspection for portable fire fighting equipment.
An inspection shall be carried out every 1 year(s) and a new certificate obtained each time.
The premises shall have a certificate if inspection for the fire detection alarm. An inspection shall be carried out every 1 year(s) and a new certificate obtained each time.
Any temporary electrical installation being used must be checked by a NICEIC or ECA electrician and a temporary electrical installation report or a certificate of compliance with BS7909 shall be obtained.
There is capacity limit of 120 max on the upper level, and 120 max on the lower level.
Door supervisors / manager / club official or designated premises will ensure the capacity limits are controlled.
Notices to be displayed at both exits points as to noise and disturbance and requests all members and guests to respect residents right to peace and quiet.
Children will at all times be supervised by parents, no person under 18 allowed in the premises unless accompanied by a responsible member. Members are to be responsible for children at all times. Children must vacate the premises by 19.00 with the exception of private functions.
Premises will be overseen at all times by stewards, committee members and assigned representatives.
All exit doors shall be easily operable without the use of key, card, code or similar means. Exit door are regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily, records of the checks are kept and can be produced on request.
All removable security fastenings shall be removed whenever the premises are open to public or staff. Fire doors are maintained effectively self-closing and will not be held open other than by approved devices. Fire resisting doors to service shafts, ducts and cupboards are kept locked shut.
Step and stair edges shall be appropriately highlighted so as to be conspicuous.
Hangings, curtains and temporary decorations shall be maintained in a flame retardant condition. Curtains, hangings and temporary decorations must be located so as not to obstruct exits, fire safety signs or fire fighting equipment. Upholstered seating is flame retardant and must comply with current fire safety regulations.
Notices detailing the actions to be taken in the event of fire or other emergency are Prominently displayed and maintained in good condition.
Access is provided for emergency vehicles and kept clear and free from obstruction.
Fire drill and emergency lighting tests must be conducted weekly/monthly. Records of these tests are available on request. All fire exits and means of escape are signed in accordance with BS5499. An evacuation policy will be in place that is to the satisfaction of the Fire Authority. All staff members will be trained in the evacuation policy. Exit doors open outwards or are secured in the open position if this is not the case.
Adequate arrangements must be in place at the premises to enable the safe evacuation of disabled people in the event of an emergency. Disabled people are made aware of these arrangements.
Adequate and appropriate first aid equipment and materials must be available on the premises. There will be at least one suitably trained first aider on the premises when public are present. If more than one first aider is present, their respective duties will be clearly defined.
