ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
Should any event be planned to exceed 5000 capacity at any one time, a safety co-ordinator shall be nominated to assist in the monitoring of safety.
Adequate lighting shall be maintained at all times to a level that will facilitate emergency egress from any licensed area.
Adequate access will be developed and maintained for emergency vehicles on property under ownership and control whilst the premises are open to the public.
Before any specific event involving more than 500 people at any one time and where structures are erected for the purpose housing a licensing activity, a plan will be prepared showing the location and nature of structures, the public area and any restricted areas intended for performers.
Any temporary structure such as a marquee which is used for a licensable activity will comply with such reasonable advice and guidance as is agreed in writing from time to time with the Fire Authority as appropriate.
Fire detection and warning systems will be tested at regular intervals and a record of the test maintained in a log book. Firefighting equipment will be checked and serviced in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.
Precautions shall be taken in relation to water features at the property. In particular, and where appropriate, physical separation will be maintained by means of warning signs and/or barriers.
Where children are present at events, adult supervision will be requested of the accompanying adult or maintained by staff at all times. Staff who are supervising children will be advised as to fire precautions and the evacuation plan.
If it is believed that there is an activity which poses a special and unacceptable risk to children, no admittance will be permitted for children to the area of that risk unless the risk can be reduced to a level that is reasonable.
The premises shall operate a proof of age scheme in relation to all sales of alcohol
