ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
The hall will be equipped with comprehensive CCTV system both internally and externally which must be maintained working. All recorded data will be kept and made available to the relevant authorities on request.
When the DPS is not at the premises, another responsible person shall be nominated by the DPS to be the person to manage the premises.
The premises has a fire risk assessment, extensive fire alarm system that is maintained and tested on a regular basis.
Evacuation procedures are in place and are tested twice a year. These tests must be logged.
At all times the DPS or nominated responsible person shall ensure the level of noise emitting from the Hall, when entertainment is being provided, shall be kept to a minimum.
Only persons aged 18 years or over will sell alcohol (with the exception of persons on a government approved training scheme). Any person who looks or appears to be, under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide ID to prove they are over the age of 18. Only the UK photo driving licence, passport or government approved PASS cards will be accepted as proof of age. Proof of age checks will take place by staff whenever they have doubt about a person’s age.
When outdoor activities are held all licensable activities will end at 23.00. All organisers of outdoor events will be given a pack prior to the start of the event that outlines their responsibilities to ensure the prevention of public nuisance for example, health and safety, litter, noise etc.
The authorities will be given at least 10 days prior notice of any large scale outdoor event including details of the exact location and the expected numbers attending.
When an event is held at the Hall, sufficient members of staff will be on duty to closely monitor the event and the safety of the public at all times.
Wherever possible all events held outdoors are held in accordance with the Health and Safety Purple Guide.
When outdoor events are held the number of stewards employed to ensure public safety shall be determined, where practicable as per the Health and Safety Purple Guide
