ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
A CCTV system which monitors the interior and exterior of the premises shall be maintained working.
All drinking glasses are to be made of toughened glass.
A minimum number of 2 door staff registered with the SIA will be on duty from 22.00 for the first 100 customers and thereafter one every 100 or part thereof at peak periods and at other times as reasonably requested by the Police.
The maximum number of persons (including staff and performers) allowed on the premises is 330.
The premises holder and/or the designated premises supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member of any pub watch scheme for the area within which the premises are located.
An appropriate method of communication, as determined by the Police, will be used at the premises. (This method of communication may change as the future technology advances). This at present refers to registration of the community/network radio scheme. The equipment must be kept in working order at all times. When the premises are open to the public the radio/equipment must be switched on and monitored at all times by the designated premises supervisor or a responsible member of staff. All instances of crime and disorder must be reported via the radio and Police instructions must be complied with.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they area over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable; UK photo driving licence, Passport or PASS card. Any persons unable to prove their age as requested will be refused entry without exception.
The designated premises supervisor, or some other reasonable person, shall control the level of amplified music so that any noise emitted from the premises does not cause nuisance to the occupiers of residential dwelling in the vicinity of the premises.
The external windows will be kept closed whenever regulated entertainment involving amplified music is taking place on that floor of the premises.
The fire doors leading from the entrance lobby into the ground floor licensed premises will be kept closed, allowing for normal entry and exit, whenever regulated entertainment involving amplified music is taking place in the ground floor of the premises.
Fire exits and doors shall be regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily.
There shall be no additional security fastenings upon the fire escape doors whilst the premises are open to the public.
The fire drill and emergency lighting tests shall be conducted monthly. A record of the tests shall be made and be available on request.
The premises must have a satisfactory CORGI certificate of inspection in respect of any gas boiler.
The premises must have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report.
Checks on portable fire fighting equipment shall be carried out annually.
