ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
Customers will not be permitted to bring glassware or alcohol on to the premises.
The emergency lighting system and fire alarm systems shall be maintained. All electric circuits shall be RCD breaker enabled.
Safety checks will be conducted every day, prior to public admission.
Entertainment shall be provided away from entrance, exit and bar area.
All windows shall be closed whilst music is being played
Amplification equipment will be reduced in volume after midnight.
Children under 18 must be accompanied at all times by an adult. Proof of age will be required for any person apparently under the age of 21.
The maximum number of persons permitted in the premises shall be 160. This shall be reduced to 130 when live entertainment is taking place.
At all times when the premises are being used for the purpose of the licence, the licence holder, or designated premises supervisor - who is responsible for the management of the premises, shall be aware of the number of persons on the premises. And if requested to do so, will give that information to an authorised person.
When the premises are being used for public entertainment purposes, the noise level shall be controlled by a decibel restrictor. The restrictor will be installed to the satisfaction of the council, to prevent disturbance to neighbouring premises. The volume of all amplified sound used in connection with all entertainment provided, will be under control of the licencee or management, and a controlling mechanism will be installed so as to be inaccessible to the public.
Before the premises are open, for the purpose authorised by the licence, an inspection will be made to ensure the premises are safe to use. Details of the inspection, defects found and remedial action taken will be recorded in writing in a logbook. The logbook will be made available for inspection or on demand to an authorised officer of the Council, fire Officer or a Police Constable
Persons who appear to be under the age of 18, will be required to provide proof of age only by one of the following:
A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Standards Scheme (PASS), Photo driving licence, passport, Citizen card supported by the home office or official card issued by the HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and birth of the holder.
At all times there will be a maintained, adequate supply of first aid equipment and materials.
The Permitted Hours restrictions do not prohibit:
(a) removed
(b) removed
(c) removed
(d) consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
(e) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
(f) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
(g) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
(h) the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
(i) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
(j) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
Unsuitable drinks promotions, or 'all-in fees', will not take place
