ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
Anyone who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is attempting to purchase alcohol must be required to produce "proof of age", complying with the PASS accreditation system before such sale is made. No irresponsible sales promotions or discounted prices of alcoholic beverages shall be offered to customers. To retain membership of the local pub watch scheme.
When disabled people are present, adequate arrangements will be made to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
All escape route and exits will be kept clear, in good order with non-slippery and even surfaces, free of hazards and clearly identified.
All exit doors will be easily operable without the use of a card, code or similar means and such doors will be regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily.
All fire doors will be maintained effectively, self closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices.
An adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials shall be available on the premises. The proposed Designated Premises Supervisor is a certified first aider.
Noise or vibration will not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. Prominent, clear and legible notices are to be displayed at all exits requesting the public to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly. Music will be played at a lower level at the end of the trading session as a wind down period.
Upholstered seating shall comply with current fire safety regulations.
Fire drill and emergency lighting tests will be conducted monthly and records of these tests will be available on request.
The premises shall have a CORGI certificate of inspection in respect of the gas boiler. The inspection shall be carried out every year and a new report obtained each time.
The licensee will take appropriate steps to avoid overcrowding.
