ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
Children shall only be allowed in the beer garden and no smoking lounge up to 7pm each day.
The premises shall be a member and active supporter/participant of the Local Pub Watch scheme.
All removable security fastenings shall be removed whenever the premises are open to the public or staff.
The Manager shall be trained in first aid.
Emergency lighting is installed and shall be regularly maintained.
The premises must have a certificate of inspection for portable fire fighting equipment. An inspection shall be carried out every year and a new certificate obtained each time.
Any temporary electrical installation being used shall be checked by a NICEIC or ECA electrician and a temporary electrical installation report or a certificate of compliance with BS7909 shall be obtained.
Any S34 gaming machines at the premises shall be positioned within sight of the bar servery in order that full supervision can be given as to those playing on such.
All escape routes and exits shall be maintained so as not to cause a hindrance in the event of an evacuation.
All fire doors must be easily operable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means.
Door supervisors who must be registered with the S.I.A and other members of staff shall ask customers to leave quietly.
Door supervisors who are registered with the S.I.A. shall monitor those customers queuing to gain entry to the premises.
The premises shall not have any irresponsible drinks promotions, which may encourage binge drinking.
A PASS accredited ID scheme is in place.
The premises shall use SIA registered door supervisors on Friday and Saturday evenings until close.
Upholstered seating shall be fire retardant and must comply with current fire safety regulations.
The premises must have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic emergency lighting report. An inspection shall be carried out every year and a new report obtained each time.
All fire exits and means of escape must be signed in accordance with BS5499.
A qualified engineer shall carry out annual testing of the Gas Installations.
Curtains, hangings and temporary decorations must be located so as not to obstruct exits, fire safety signs or fire-fighting equipment.
