ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
Any persons who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide ID to prove that they are over the age of 18. Only the UK photo driving licence, passport or Government approved PASS cards will be accepted as proof of age.
When regulated entertainment is being provided all doors and windows to the premises shall be closed.
The main exit shall be fitted with a self-closing door.
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours are as stated in Part A and include;
On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
The premises shall be equipped with a comprehensive CCTV system that records and stores data. These records are kept for a period of one month.
Whenever the Designated Premises Supervisor is not present at the premises another person shall be nominated by them to be the responsible person to manage the premises.
The Designated Premises Supervisor shall be an active member of a local pubwatch scheme for the area. Either the DPS or a person nominated by them shall regularly attend the meetings and support the scheme by excluding the relevant persons from the premises.
Signs shall be prominently displayed at all exits to the premises asking people to leave quietly and have regard for residential neighbours.
When entertainment is being provided members of staff shall ask patrons to leave the premises quietly at the end of the evening.
The beer garden shall not be in use after 21.00 hours.
The capacity limit for the premises is 120.
Only persons aged 18 years or over shall sell or supply alcohol (with the exception of those on an approved training scheme).
Exit doors are regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily.
The premises must have a CORGI certificate of inspection in respect of any gas boiler.
The premises must have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report.
Checks on portable fire fighting equipment are carried out annually.
The Permitted Hours restrictions do not prohibit:
(a) removed
(b) removed
(c) removed
(d) consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
(e) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
(f) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
(g) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
(h) the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
(i) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
(j) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
Wherever possible only glasses, which are made of toughened/safety glass, shall be used in the premises, or areas outside the premises forming part of the premises.
At all times the Designated Premises Supervisor or other responsible person shall ensure the level of noise emitting from the premises shall be kept to a minimum.
