ANNEX 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
The management/premises shall not promote any irresponsible drinks offers.
Soft furnishings shall be flame retardant.
Fire extinguishers that are present on the premises shall be maintained working.
Fire extinguishers shall be serviced regularly.
Noise levels shall be monitored by the DPS or other responsible person, to ensure this does not rise to an unacceptable level.
Children must be accompanied by an adult before 20.00hrs. Children are not permitted on the premises after 20.00hrs.
ID shall be checked if staff have reason to believe customer is under age.
The designated premises supervisor, or some other responsible person, shall control the level of amplified music so that any noise emitted from the premises does not cause nuisance to the occupiers of nearby dwellings.
External doors and windows shall be kept closed, allowing for normal entry and exit, whenever regulated entertainment involving amplified music is taking place.
Signs requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly shall be prominently displayed at all exits
Fire doors shall be regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily
There shall be no removable security fastenings on doors
The fire drill and emergency lighting tests shall be conducted monthly. A record shall be kept and made available on request.
The emergency lighting shall have sufficient battery capacity to allow adequate evacuation of the premises.
The premises shall have a satisfactory CORGI certificate of inspection in respect of any gas boiler
The premises shall have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report
Checks on portable fire fighting equipment shall be carried out annually
