ANNEX 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
The premises shall be a member and active supporter/participant of the local Pubwatch scheme
The premises shall use plastic glasses when Burnley FC play a category C football match at home
The premises shall close at Police request and during specific times on the occasions of local
football matches.
The premises shall not have any irresponsible drinks promotions which may encourage binge drinking.
All members of staff concerned with sales of alcohol shall be trained in relation to sales of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years.
Pre-opening safety checks shall be carried out at the premises before each trading session.
Doors and windows to be kept closed when regulated entertainment is in progress
Signs shall be posted at the exits reminding customers to leave quietly and with respect for the local residents
There shall be a DJ/public announcement to be made at the end of the day reminding customers to leave quietly
The beer garden shall cease to be used by customers for the purpose of the consumption of alcohol at 00.00 midnight each day.
No recorded or live performed music will be played in any external parts of the premises after 10pm
The management will ensure that the grounds of the premises will be kept tidy and without nuisance to other neighbouring businesses or residents
All external lighting on signage shall be turned off at 11pm
All curtains in the licensed area shall be closed at 11pm
The last admission time for customers shall be Midnight.
No persons under 16 years to be allowed access to the premises after 8pm and persons who are between 16 and 18 years to be accompanied by a person over the age of 18.
All members of staff to be trained in relation of sales of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years
Any S.34 gaming machines at the premises will be positioned within sight of the bar servery in order that full supervision can be given as to those playing on such.
The Permitted Hours restrictions do not prohibit:
(a) removed
(b) removed
(c) removed
(d) consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
(e) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
(f) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
(g) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
(h) the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
(i) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
(j) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
