ANNEX 2 - Conditions Imposed in Accordance with the Operating Schedule & Under Paragraph 18(4) & 18(5) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003
The premises will be operated within strict operational controls with close management supervision.
All management team have completed their training on all late-night licensing activities online, this will be refreshed on annual basis, records and content of this training can be provided on request.
CCTV System:
The CCTV system within the premises is fully compliant with the guidance contained in the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) guidance document.
CCTV system is a recordable system, capable of providing clear, good quality images in all lighting conditions.
Cameras shall encompass all entrances, exits to the premises and all areas where licensable activity occurs.
Equipment shall be maintained in good working order and checked on a regular basis to ensure it displays the correct time and date.
The system shall record in real time and operate whilst the premises are open to the public. The recordings shall be retained for a period of 31 days and made available to any authorised officer on reasonable request for evidential purposes, in accordance with Data Protection Legislation.
The Recording equipment shall be kept in a secure environment.
There shall be sufficient members of trained staff available to be able to download or view CCTV evidence with the minimum of delay at the reasonable request of an authorised officer.
Notices are prominently displayed inside the premises advising patrons that there is a CCTV system in operation.
A “NO GLASS” policy shall be in operation at the premises.
Security System:
The premises is equipped with the intruder alarm system which comprises of control panel, motion sensors& external sounders.
There are also Panic Attack system by front counter& the office.
These are linked to the monitoring station (Secom-security company) & The Police.
Accidents& Incidents:
All accidents& incidents (violent, criminal or anti-social behaviour) are recorded and reported online.
The record will contain the time and date, the nature of the incident, the people involved, the action taken and details of the person responsible for the management of the premises at the time of the incident.
A digital log of these is always available within the premises and can be viewed and downloaded upon on request by an authorised officer of relevant responsible authority and/or Police Officer.
The records will be retained for at least 12 months.
All shift runners are registered first aiders. At least one first aider on duty at all times.
An adequate, sufficient and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials is
available on the premises at all times.
Fire Safety:
The premises will comply with Local Authority fire regulations
Fire safety management procedures including fire alarm, emergency lighting& fire extinguishers are within the premises.
These are tested annually and relevant certificate are held within the premises.
A Fire risk assessment is completed annually.
All staff& management team have completed “The Fire Training” module online.
Gas safety (CORGI) and PAT testing are conducted annually and relevant certificates are held at the premises and can be viewed by an authorised officer of relevant responsible authority.
The premises operates a no-smoking policy.
The premises shall carry out routine maintenance to restaurant areas.
Good housekeeping practices shall be in place.
Noise precautions management and monitoring controls
Management shall ensure that during the final hour of trading appropriate announcements are made to remind patrons of the need to leave the premises quietly without causing annoyance, nuisance or disturbance to local residents.
No speakers for amplification of music shall be placed on the outside of the premises or on the outside of any building forming a part of the premises, or in any lobby area that will project loud music externally.
Suitable signage shall be positioned at exits to request the co-operation of patrons, in particular to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.
Limited noise to be generated from premises.
Attenuators are fitted to extraction/refrigeration plant .
Waste& litter Control
Sufficient number of suitable receptacles shall be in appropriate locations for the depositing of waste materials such as food wrappings, drinks containers& etc. by customers.
The premises shall ensure that measures are put in place to remove litter or waste arising from customers and to prevent such litter from accumulating in the immediate vicinity of the premises or neighbouring premises.
The premises will comply with the DEFRA voluntary code of practise on reducing litter caused by ‘food on the go’.
Provision of waste collection services:
All the rubbish produced by the premises shall be stored securely in a designated area or in a bin with a tight fitting and lockable lid. The ‘collection and removal of litter’ shall be taken to include the satisfactory disposal of spilled food and similar materials to leave the footway in a clean, safe and wholesome condition.
The protection of children from harm
Staff awareness to presence of young persons and advise authorities concerned.
No gaming machines on the premises.
The premises shall comply with current Employment law regarding the employment of under 18s.
Unaccompanied children will not be served post 23:00
The team will contact the police immediately of the presence of unaccompanied young person during the licensing hours.
