ANNEX 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
The pub will have a capacity limit of 150 to prevent overcrowding.
Annual inspections will be carried out on fire fighting equipment and records kept.
The premises will have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report.
The premises will have a CORGI certificate of inspection in respect of any gas boiler, calorifier or appliance.
Exit doors will be regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily and any security fastenings will be removed when the premises are open to the public or staff.
No irresponsible sales promotions of alcoholic beverages shall be offered to customers.
No customers carrying open or sealed bottles shall be admitted to the premises at any time that the premises are open to the public.
A sign will be displayed on the premises indicating the standard hours during which the sale of alcohol is permitted.
All fire doors will be maintained effectively self closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices.
Notices detailing the actions to be taken in the event of fire or other emergencies, including how the fire brigade shall be summoned, are to be prominently displayed.
No regulated entertainment of any type shall take place outside the premises in any areas which are within the licence holder's control after 22.00 save for any special event seven days' notice of which has been given to the licensing authority and police.
No one under the age of 16 will be allowed to enter or remain on the premises after 21.00 save on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
Anyone who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is attempting to buy alcohol must be required to produce proof of age before such as sale is made.
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours are as stated in Part A and include;
On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
The Permitted Hours restrictions do not prohibit:
(a) removed
(b) removed
(c) removed
(d) consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
(e) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
(f) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
(g) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
(h) the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
(i) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
(j) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
