ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises, or
(b) At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises.
The store shall operate a CCTV system with extra cameras in the beer area.
Staff shall be fully trained and most shall have obtained BIIAB level 2 certificates and have received "in house" training on the sale of alcohol.
A due diligence policy is in place and internal test purchases will be undertaken.
The scanning system prompts staff to check the age of the customer when alcohol is purchased.
The premises operate a due diligence recording system and a refusal book is used.
The premises operate an over 25 policy but do sell to 18-25 years olds on production of approved identification. Only PASS cards, photographic driving licences, or passports are accepted.
