ANNEX 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
The Designated Premises Supervisor shall, at all times, control the level of amplified music so that noise emitted from the premises does not cause nuisance at nearby residential dwellings.
Signs requesting customers to respect the needs of nearby residents and to leave the premises and area quietly shall be prominently displayed at all exits.
Toughened glasses shall be used where possible
All members of staff concerned with the sales of alcohol shall be trained in relation to sales of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years
A PASS accredited ID scheme shall be operated in relation to underage sales of alcohol as well as access to the premises.
Emergency exits and emergency escape routes shall be maintained to ensure that these can be used at all times.
Annual testing and inspection by a qualified engineer shall be carried out on all Gas Installations, Electrical Installations, Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm systems at the premises.
Doors and windows shall be kept closed when entertainment is in progress.
The management shall ensure that the grounds of the premises are kept tidy and without nuisance to other neighbouring businesses or residents.
Any Section 34 gaming machines at the premises shall be positioned within sight of the bar servery in order that full supervision can be given as to those playing on such.
Persons aged under 18 years shall be excluded from the premises on occasions which the management deem appropriate and subject to the activities taking place.
No persons under the age of 18 years shall be allowed access to any part of the premises after 8pm on any day.
The premises have agreed links with a local taxi company for collection of customers. Such company has been requested to ask drivers to personally call into the premises or telephone the premises on arrival. In addition, these drivers are asked not to sound car horns when collecting fares.
