ANNEX 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
When the designated premises supervisor is not at the premises, another responsible person will be nominated by the designated premises supervisor as being the person to manage the premises.
At peak times a minimum number of 2 members of door staff registered with the SIA will be on duty for the first 100 customers and thereafter one for every 100 or part thereof.
Door supervisors registered with the SIA shall be equipped with an appropriate method of keeping an accurate record of the capacity levels.
Door supervisors shall be positioned at each entrance/exit (other than fire exits) to ensure that no customer leaves with bottles or glasses.
Door supervisors will patrol the queue to the premises as necessary to ensure that customers who are drunk or have acted in a disorderly manner, or behaved in a way to cause public disorder or nuisance, are prevented from entering the premises.
The designated premises supervisor will maintain a daily record comprising of the following: - Start time and finish time of each door supervisor. The door supervisor will record their SIA badge number and will sign and print their name in a legible form at the beginning and end of each tour of duty. The record shall be kept securely on the premises for at least 6 months and be produced on request to the police or other authorised person.
The premise licence holder and/or the designated premises supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member and regularly attend the meeting of any pub watch scheme for the area within which the premises are located.
An appropriate method of communication, as determined by the police, will be used at the premises.(this method may change in the future as Technology advances) This at present refers to registration of the community/network radio scheme.
Wherever possible only glasses, which are made out of toughened/safety glass, will be used on the premises.
The premises shall be fitted with CCTV both internally and externally and which shall be maintained working . The system records and the data kept for 28 days. The data will be made available to the authorities on request.
No persons under the age of 18 will be permitted on the premises after 21.00. , with the exception of any event which may be held specifically for young children.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: UK Photo driving licence, Passport, PASS card
The maximum number of persons permitted on the premises shall be;
Lower Ground Floor 300
1st Floor 300
2nd Floor 300
3rd Floor 50
Exit doors shall be regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily
The emergency lighting shall have sufficient battery capacity to allow adequate evacuation of the premises
The premises shall have a CORGI certificate of inspection in respect of any gas boiler
The premises shall have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical inspection report
Checks on portable fire fighting equipment shall be carried out annually
Access to all escape routes must be available at all times. In particular, whilst the third floor is
open or accessible to staff or the public, the alternative escape route through the fire doors on the second floor must be readily available from the third floor. This means that all doors to the second floor must be readily operable from the stair landing
All fire exit doors and final exits shall be easily operable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours are as stated in Part A and include;
On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
