ANNEX 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
Door supervisors will monitor the queue to the premises as necessary to ensure that customers who are drunk or who have acted in a disorderly manner, or have behaved in such a way as to cause a public nuisance or disturbance, are prevented from entering the premises.
The premises licence holder and/or the designated premises supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member of and regularly attend meetings of any pub watch scheme for the area within the premises are located.
An appropriate method of communication, as determined by the Police, will be used at the premises. (This method of communication may change in the future as technology advances). This at present refers to registration of the community/network radio scheme. The equipment must be kept in working order at all times. When the premises are open to the public the radio/equipment must be switched on and monitored at all times by the designated premises supervisor or a responsible member of staff. All instances of crime and disorder must be reported via the radio and Police instructions must be complied with
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. Any person unable to prove their age as above will be refused entry without exception. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: UK photo driving licence; Passport; PASS card (proof of age standards scheme).
A CCTV system will be maintained working at all times.
Fire exit doors are regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily.
There are no removable security fastenings on doors whilst the premises is open to staff and the public.
The premises must have a satisfactory CORGI certificate of inspection in respect of any gas boiler.
The premises must have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report.
Checks on portable fire fighting equipment will be carried out annually.
The capacity limit for the premises is 250.
A personal licence holder shall be on the premises at all peak times during which intoxicating liquor is being sold or supplied to customers or consumed by customers, except in the case of emergency.
A minimum number of 2 members of door staff registered with the SIA will be on duty from 21.00 hours for the first 100 customers and thereafter one for every 100 or part thereof at peak periods and at other times as reasonably requested by the Police.
All promotional activity will comply with industry agreed codes of practice.
Customers leaving the premises will be requested to leave in a quiet and orderly manner.
Any person found using drugs will be removed from the premises. Any person found to be dealing drugs will be detained and the police informed immediately. Drugs seized will be handed over to the Police.
The premises will be a member of the local Pub watch scheme.
Emergency exits will be unlocked and clearly indicated at all times.
Means of escape and passageways and gangways will be kept clear and unobstructed during the whole time the premises are used for the licensable activities.
No fire door shall be held open other than by approved devices.
In the event of an outbreak of fire, irrespective of the severity, the fire brigade shall be called immediately to the premises.
Temporary electrical wiring installations shall only be undertaken by competent qualified persons. Where this is not practicable all temporary electrical lighting shall be inspected and certified by a competent qualified person before it is put to use.
Outdoor drinking and eating shall only be permitted in defined areas as per the plan attached to the premises licence.
Numbers for taxi firms will be displayed in a prominent location.
Facilities shall be provided for the secure storage of empty glass containers.
Refuse will be removed regularly in a manner that is sensitive to needs of local residents.
The premises will display prominent signage regarding the laws relating to children and alcohol.
The premises supports the Portman Group code of practice which aims to ensure that drinks are packaged and promoted to over 18s only, and in a socially responsible way.
The conditions attached to your Public Entertainment Licence will still apply to your premises unless specifically excluded by this licence.
A copy of the PEL conditions is included as part of your licence.
